Who is this event for?
City Uprising is for anyone in 9th Grade and higher.

Please Note: The vision of City Uprising is to ‘propel the church’ and therefore our events are appropriate for anyone who has completed the 9th grade and higher, but because our largest group of attenders are college students and young adults, we have chosen to intentionally focus our worship gatherings and service projects toward that age group.

What is City Uprising?
Vision: To Propel the Church and Prosper the City.

Verse: Jeremiah 33:9 - 'Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.'

Voice: City Uprising is a unique opportunity for people to unite in the world's great urban centers in order to ‘propel the local church and prosper the city’. Through an intensive worship and service experience, City Uprising hopes to inspire resolute commitment to the local church, raise awareness of the need to reach the world’s major cities with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ through new churches, and build a bridge into the heart of the city through love and service.

City Uprising was birthed out of the The Gallery Church in NYC in 2008.  Today, as it has grown, City Uprising is partnered with several organizations and churches.

NYC – March 7-10
Early Bird: $195 (now until January 7, 2010) (60 Days)
Regular Registration: $255 (January 8 - February 7) (30 Days)

Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM – December 12-15

All payments are due in full at time of registration. No refunds are available. 

You must be 18 or older to sign up as an individual.

Any group with individuals under 18 must have 1 chaperone for every 5 individuals under 18.  (A college student or adult 21 and older can be considered a chaperone.)

What will a normal day during the event look like?

City Uprising Tentative Event Schedule

Most likely, Day 1 will not change. If the schedule is altered, you will be notified one month in advance. Days 2-4 could change as ministry opportunities are made available. You will be notified via email and web of these changes.

Day 1:    

Registration Begins- 10 AM
Opening Worship Gathering- 2 PM
Break Out/Training Sessions- 3:30 PM
Dinner (provided on site for $10)- 5:30 PM
Worship Gathering- 7:00 PM

Day 2:    

Serve the City- 10:30 AM til 7 PM
Lunch (on your own)         
Dinner (on your own)        

Day 3:

Worship Gathering- 8:30 AM
Serve the City- 10:30 AM til 4 PM
Lunch (on your own)         
Dinner (on your own)    
Community Block Party- 6 PM til 9 PM

Day 4:    

Serve the City- 9 AM til 5 PM

All payments are non-refundable, but individual registrations are transferable within the same event.
