Description
City Uprising is a 4-day mission event that connects with and loves the local church planter’s community. This event encompasses worship, community restoration projects, and outreach components. Each City Uprising is unique to the needs of the city and the church planter. In New Orleans, City Uprising participants will serve in city schools, manage a community 5K race to support a local cause, and participate in outreach activities.
Church Planter
Matt Tipton, Lead Paster of Hope Church
Matt Tipton is a Church Planter and Lead Pastor of Hope Church in New Orleans, LA. Matt & Elaine spent 4 years in New Orleans prior to Hurricane Katrina going to seminary and doing student ministry. In 2005 Katrina wrecked the seminary, their church, and all of their possessions. After five years away Matt, Elaine and their two kids (Anna Claire & David) moved back to New Orleans to plant Hope Church in a city that deeply needs the Hope of Jesus. The Tipton family is working to build relationships in the city, serve the needs of the city and share Gospel with those in the city that will hear.
Pricing Detail
$100 for New participants (per person)
$75 for Current Church Partners (per person)
The Participant Fee is an administrative fee, which includes the following:
- T-shirts for all participants (2 per person)
- Service project and outreach materials for the week
- Training materials
- Additional temporary personnel costs needed for the week

Policies
Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your registration 30 or more days before the event, you will receive a refund of 50% of your participant fees (does not apply to lodging charges). There is no refund if cancellation is received less than 30 days before the event. Notify City Uprising through email of your intent to cancel at info@cityuprising.com.
Videotaping Policy: During this event, City Uprising, Inc. will be videotaping, audio taping, and photographing. Most likely, you will be filmed, recorded or photographed as part of the audience or individually. By your attendance, you are granting your permission to be videotaped, audio taped, or photographed for commercial purposes and agree to the following: being recorded, filmed, videotaped, or photographed by any means; commercial or any other use of your likeness, voice and words without compensation; specifically waving all rights of privacy during the videotaping, filming, recording or photographing and release City Uprising, Inc. from liability for loss, damage, or compensation from the commercial or other use of your likeness, image, voice or word; compliance with all rules and regulations of City Uprising for this event.
